What did you learn from audience feedback?
We had a year 9 class which watched our trailer and said something they thought was good about it, compared to something that could be improved. By seeing what people had said especially being a younger target audience we thought that their responses were great and it has made us think if we were to do something similar the different ideas we could include.
This comment that we received mentioned the fact it was horror based. This is obviously what it is meant to be and it's good that different audiences are getting the main picture of what our trailer is about.
Social media feedback
We decided to put our magazine and poster covers on Facebook to get some feedback about what they thought., here were some of the comments made:
We also put our trailer on social media to see what comments we could get, this is the feedback that came back:
We put it on social media to find out what people thought and by receiving this comment we knew it meant that it was based around the setting of the trailer. This was positive feedback because it shows us that the audience understood the reasoning of what we were trying to show in the trailer.
This was another comment that was made about our trailer. It states that he felt it was very intriguing, this is what we wanted, we made a trailer that would appeal to our target audience making them wanting to watch more.
When making our trailer, font is one of the key points that needs to look good and making sure it appeals to the audience. After deciding on a font that the whole group liked we decided to go with one named 'kindergarten' this because it was based around children and one of the main characters throughout is a young child. We are glad someone has taken into consideration about the format of the font.
